Exclusive: Anticipating new episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians This continues to grow as the Season 2 premiere approaches.
According to Disney, the latest trailer for the upcoming second season, which launched on November 6, has been viewed 135.9 million times across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook in the first 10 days. The overwhelming response is a 60% increase compared to Season 1’s trailer performance (84.3 million video views in 10 days).
The company says there also appears to be a strong global appeal, noting that nearly half (46.8%) of the trailer’s 10-day audience were driven by international views.
season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will follow the adventure described in the second novel in Rick Riordan’s best-selling Greek mythology series, Sea of demons. The trailer teases another demonic undertaking for Percy (Walker Scobell) as the fate of Camp Half-Blood and his best friend Grover (Aryan Simhadri) falls into his hands.

Courtney B. Vance has been recast as Zeus, taking over from the late Lance Reddick. Sandra Bernhard, Kirsten Schaal and Margaret Cho will play The Gray Sisters.
The second season will premiere with two episodes on December 10 on Disney+ and Hulu, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday thereafter. Additionally, on December 10, Disney will launch new episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians The official podcast offering behind-the-scenes access to the series.
Additionally, the series has already been renewed for Season 3, which is currently in production in Vancouver.
