When it comes to self-care and overall health, staying hydrated is at the top of the list (besides getting good sleep). But actually downing those ounces of H2O is sometimes challenging. As silly as it sounds, keeping your favorite water bottle can make it easier to stay hydrated. And Mashable’s favorite water bottle, the viral Ovala Freesip, gets a major upgrade with an Ovala tattoo.

Buy any Ovala bottle or pet bowl, and you can now choose to engrave, print, or add a full sleeve to your water bottle. And perhaps the best part is that this extra only costs $10. Here’s how to design your own emotional support Ovala bottle. Keep in mind, creating a customized bottle for a friend could win the award for best gift.

Customization Options with Oval Tattoo

Ovala is giving us free creative range to add something sustainable to our water bottles. Ovala Tattoo Parlor allows engraving, printing or adding full sleeves to the Ovala range of products.

The laser engraving option engraves text, logo or artwork into the bottle, which you can physically feel. You can also add more than one engraving element to the bottle without increasing the price. I added both the text and the oval tattoo to the same bottle and adjusted the placement so the two didn’t overlap.

The print option on Ovala gives you access to a huge tattoo artwork library, including nature, animals, holiday themes, and more. You can add artwork to both the front and back of the bottle.

The full sleeve Ovala Tattoo option wraps around two large FreeSip bottles (32 and 40-ounce), the FreeSip Twists, the 24-ounce Tumbler and the 12-ounce Kids Tumbler. The Full Sleeve catalog has the smallest library of options, with 22 designs available. You can also upload your own designs and artwork to add to the Ovala bottle.

Not all bottles are customizable with the full selection of options. For example, you can only engrave the Ovala Pet Bowl and 40-ounce Freesip Tumbler, which means you can’t add art or full sleeves to these products. You have to choose between engraving or adding art to the bottle, as it is not possible to combine both in the same product.

How to make your own Ovala bottle

Ovala makes it easy to create your own customized water bottle and it’s actually really fun to play with. Simply visit the Ovala Tattoo landing page and scroll through the list of bottle options varying in size and price. You can also customize baby bottles.

How much does it cost to customize Ovala?

There’s great news on the pricing front because Ovala tattoos are significantly cheaper than IRL tattoos, and as a bonus, they’re painless. Customizing a bottle comes with a similar $10 price tag. That means the 32-ounce FreeSip will go from its standard price of $34.99 to $44.99 for adding a color print, engraving, or your own design. And remember, you can add more than one artwork or engraving to the same bottle, so go ahead because you’ll still have to pay the $10 fee regardless of single or double design.

Keep in mind that since Ovala tattoo bottles are customized, it is not possible to return or exchange them.
