OpenMANET is an open-source project to build a Raspberry Pi-based MANET radio over Wi-Fi HaLow (915 MHz) using the Morse Micro chipset. MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is a self-built wireless mesh where each node connects directly without centralized infrastructure. This technology is especially useful for search and rescue, disaster response, airsoft incidents and any disconnected communications scenario in the civilian sector.
