North east

Old Farmer’s Almanac It is expected that December will be cold and snowy in the Northeast. There will be snowfall from 1-17 December and the temperature will become very cold. It will be sunny from 18-21 December but will still be cold. The publication said snowfall is expected from December 22-31 and it will be very cold.

atlantic corridor

Rain with mild temperatures is expected from 1-3 December. According to the Panchang, there will be snowfall in the North from December 4-12 while there will be sunshine in the South and the temperature will become cool.

Conditions should be sunny and cool from December 13-15. Between December 16-29, the forecast calls for rain and snow, followed by sunshine and very cold temperatures. It is predicted that the month will end with snowy, cold conditions on 30–31 December.

Appalachians

The beginning of December is warm in this forecast area. From December 1-3, hot weather with rain is expected. According to the almanac, from December 4-17, snowfall is expected in the north while the south will be sunny and the overall temperature will be cool.

Conditions become sunny but very cold from 18–20 December. A short mild break occurs from 21–23 December, with sunny skies in the north and rain in the south. According to the forecast, the month will end with snowy weather and very cold temperatures from December 24-31.

south-east

According to the forecast, December in the Southeast begins with rain and heat. From December 4-19, there will be mostly sunshine, mild conditions at first and then it will become colder.

By December 20–21, blizzards are expected in the eastern part of the region, while the west will see rain and cooler temperatures. From December 22-27, the forecast is for sunny and mild weather. The month ends December 28–31, with first sunshine, then rain and overall cool temperatures.

deep South

Expect hot, rainy conditions from December 1-3. From 4–15 December, the weather becomes sunny and mild, then as the period progresses, the weather becomes much cooler.

From December 16-20, there will be rain followed by sunny skies and cooler temperatures. From December 21-31, the forecast calls for initially sunny skies, then more rain, leading to mild temperatures that will turn cold.

Texas-Oklahoma

According to the almanac, rain and cold will start in the Texas-Oklahoma region in December 2025. From 4–11 December, conditions change to overall warm temperatures with sunny weather in the north and rain in the south.

From December 12-27, the forecast is mostly sunny. The temperature will be cold at first, then it will become hot later. The month ends with some rain and cool conditions on 28–31 December.

From December 1-10, the publication says there will be drizzle, then sunshine and very hot temperatures.

Snowfall is expected from 11-17 December and it will be cold. From December 18–31, conditions will be mostly sunny, with some sporadic rain or snow, and temperatures will be quite warm overall.

intermountain area

The publication states that December 2025 in the intermountain region begins with storms and very cold weather. From December 7–12, conditions become sunny and mild.

From December 13-24, there will be some rain in the east and a spell of rain in the west, leading to generally quite warm temperatures. From December 25-31, there may be some rain and snowfall in the east, while the west will be sunny and temperatures will be warm.

Pacific Northwest

Very cold starts in December 2025 in the Pacific Northwest. From December 1-9, there will be some rain in the north while the south will be sunny and very cool. Sporadic rain with cold is expected between 10-12 December.

Rain is forecast from December 13-20, some of which will be heavy, and temperatures will be hot. From 21–24 December, it rains in the north but the south is sunny and temperatures are mild. According to the forecast, the month ends with sunny and warm weather from December 25-31.

pacific southwest

From December 1-13, conditions should be sunny, cool at first and then warming up. From December 14-16, there may be some rain in the north while the south will be sunny and have warm temperatures.
