What’s the biggest thing that surprised you when you came to the NBA? Noah Clowney: I’m surprised? Q. Yes. Clowney: What nice people. Like, you don’t realize how nice people are until you’re here. As soon as you see it, you say, “Okay.” Like, and I think being young and having the perspective that I had, it’s like, OK, I’m a first-round pick. Like, when I get here, I have to be like, I mean, better than other guys that are here that weren’t picked in the first round, that could have been drafted, but until you actually get here, you don’t really realize how good the guys are. They can make you do what they want you to do based on how strong they are, how fast they are, how people can think about the game, how they play. Like you don’t realize how good they are until you listen. Perhaps this is the biggest thing.
