NFL Legend Michael Strahan Announces Career News

Michael Strahan spent 15 seasons with the New York Giants from 1993 to 2007 and became one of the NFL’s best defenders ever. He finished his career with 141.5 sacks, earning multiple All-Pro selections and a spot on the 2000s All-Decade Team. He is tied with TJ Watt for the single-season sack record of 22.5, but that mark is in jeopardy as Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has 18 with six games remaining in the 2025 season.

While Strahan found success on the field, he has done the same in retirement. In 2008, the former defensive end joined Fox Sports’ pregame show “Fox NFL Sunday,” and in 2016, he became a co-host on the popular morning show “Good Morning America.” But Strahan didn’t limit himself to television in his post-NFL career.

In 2015, Strahan expanded his portfolio by launching the Michael Strahan brand, a lifestyle and apparel company. The brand includes several product lines under their name, including MSX by Michael Strahan for everyday clothing, The Collection by Michael Strahan for formal wear, and Michael Strahan™ for men’s grooming products.

And ahead of Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season, Strahan had some exciting news to share about his brand, revealing it will be featured in the 2025 USA TODAY Holiday Gift Guide, which is published annually and highlights holiday and holiday gift ideas. Strahan will have a page dedicated to his design lab, where customers can customize their suits.

“Thank you to @usatoday for featuring @michaelstrahanbrand,” Strahan wrote on his Instagram Story, sharing a photo of his design lab facility.

While Strahan continues his success away from football, he will return on Thanksgiving Day for a special edition of “Fox NFL Sunday” before the Green Bay Packers-Detroit Lions matchup.
