Orlando, Florida – If you’re heading out around Central Florida this weekend, expect some big changes from tomorrow’s cold snap.
Temperatures on Saturday are again reaching the upper 60s and lower 70s and feeling quite mild. Still, those strong winds aren’t going anywhere just yet. Winds can reach up to 30 mph on the coast and up to 20 mph in inland locations.
Expect a mix of sunshine and clouds, but dry weather on both Saturday and Sunday. The high is expected to reach 81 degrees by Sunday, bringing even more warmth and plenty of sunshine.

The calm vibe won’t last the whole week. Looking ahead, models are still indicating a storm system moving toward Central Florida late Monday through Tuesday. This system is expected to increase the chance of rain to about 40% on Tuesday, with a few thunderstorms also possible.
The forecast shows rain and storms could continue into Wednesday morning, so anyone planning on going out midweek will want to have an umbrella handy.
The upcoming front associated with this system is expected to drop afternoon temperatures into the mid-70s on Wednesday and Thursday. While details are still developing and the chance of rain may increase as Tuesday approaches, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on updated forecasts.
Tropical regions remain calm as hurricane season ends
There is no need to worry about the tropical zone. No tropical activity is expected over the next several days, and only one day remains until the official end of hurricane season. This is great news for Central Florida, giving everyone a nice break from tropical worries.
The forecast shows mostly mild and dry conditions once the mid-week rain ends, with temperatures settling into the low 80s before cooling off a bit at the start of the week.
