The synopsis teases, “An international game of cat and mouse begins as Dan and his family fight, brawl and fight their way through a series of bank robberies, holiday hijackings and car chases amid beautiful European terrain.”

“We’ve had a really good time working with each other. We really enjoy each other’s company,” Monaghan tells People about her chemistry with Wahlberg, 54.

“We’re both really invested in our work. And we appreciate having our kids in the movie,” Monaghan said of Zoe Colletti, 23, Van Crosby, 23, Peter Lindsay, and Theodore Lindsay.

The actress also shared that filming abroad (the film was shot in London and Paris) was a big reason for saying yes to making the sequel.

Monaghan said, “Just to see that they’re going international this time, obviously, it felt good to me personally as well as professionally.”

He added, “We got a chance to shoot in London, which is one of the most beautiful, iconic locations during the holidays, so we really got a chance to embrace that aspect here, and to go to Paris and live through the Morgans’ lives and their experiences. It made for a very special second chance.”
