Mewgenics, the next game from The Binding of Isaac’s developer, will arrive next February on PC

Indie game developer Edmund McMillan hosted a Reddit AMA today to reveal some more details about his upcoming game MevgenicsFor starters, the Steam release date for this turn-based cat-breeding RPG has been slightly delayed to February 10th, The game was first announced in 2012 and was recently planned for launch sometime this year, Part of the long development cycle was so that Macmillan could wait to launch super meat boy foreverits sequel super meat boy Platforming hit from 2010. Gamers may also know McMillan for the binding of IsaacWhich has some notable crossovers with titles like Balatro In recent years.

Other news from the AMA includes the promise that McMillan already has DLC ideas, so additional content is expected to be released once the base game is available. Mavenix doesn’t seem to lack replayability, however; “I currently have 300+ hours on 2 saves and I’ve only beaten the game on one save so far,” McMillan said. The developer said there are also plans to bring out some console versions of the game, though that’s unlikely until late next year.
