Men’s Basketball Continues Their Three Game Homestand Against Mount Saint Mary’s

philadelphia – The Drexel men’s basketball team is set to continue its three-game homestand against the Mount St. Marys Mountaineers on Friday, December 19 at 7 p.m. International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel men’s basketball.
About Drexel

The Dragons are 4-7 after losing a close 74-66 game to Howard on Tuesday. II Kevon Vanderhorst Led team with career-high 30 points. He finished shooting a season-high 72.7% from the field and co-led the team with four assists. Drexel shared the ball well, finishing with 14 assists to Howard’s 11. Additionally, the Dragons blocked seven Bison shots and limited them to only three three-pointers the entire game.
About Mount St. Mary

The Mountaineers are 3-8 after Saturday’s win over Loyola University Maryland. Donny Lind coaches them in his second season. Senior Arlandus Keyes leads the team in scoring with an average of 13.2 points per game.

Despite only two meetings in the history of the series, this encounter dates back more than 113 years. Drexel’s first appearance in the series came in February 1912 as the Blue and Gold fell 31–12 to Maryland. The teams would not meet again for the next 76 years, with the now-Drexel Dragons falling on the road, 86–76.
