Megan Moroney on Where She Stands with Morgan Wallen After Their Split (Exclusive)

Megan Moroney is opening up about where she stands with Morgan Wallen.

In an exclusive interview for People StyleWatch’s holiday cover published Monday, November 24, the “Beautiful Things” singer, 28, talked about her relationship with the “I Got Better” artist, 32.

“I think Morgan is great and his new album (i’m the problem) is great,” says Moroni. “He and I are still friends.”

The “6 Months Later” artist also discussed how “being honest” in her songwriting has helped her career.

Moroni says, “I never let the possibility that people might guess who (a song) is about stop me from writing about how the situation made me feel.”

“Am I okay?” After fans immediately began connecting Moroni to Wallen. The artist released his smash hit “Tennessee Orange” in 2022 after the two started commenting on each other’s Instagram posts.

The following year, Wallen also released a song called “Tennessee Fan”.

Moroni said at the time, “I’m not the kind of person who likes to talk about things like that.” “All my songs are about people. ‘Tennessee Orange’ is a great song, but if I told people who it’s about, they’d ask me who ‘Sleep on My Side’ is about. I can’t tell you because it’s not a good song!”
