NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WSMV) – One person is dead after a rollover crash on Interstate 40 Saturday morning, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
MNPD said the single-vehicle crash happened at 7:15 a.m. Saturday on the entrance ramp to I-40 East.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a Toyota Tundra was traveling eastbound on I-40 at a high speed when it entered the I-440 entrance ramp and failed to make the turn. The truck went off the left side of the ramp and rolled over.

The driver, Jason Brady, 39, of Nashville, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. MNPD said he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
“Toxicology testing will be conducted to determine if impairment played a role in this fatal crash,” MNPD said.
