I am not sure if I am in the right place but here we have no choice as we could not get any help from the game or Steam support.
Since around 13/03, there is a major systemic issue with every game that uses Steam networking for P2P games.
For example, in the game Street Fighter 6, when playing with an Israeli or another PC to PC the ping between players is ~120 ms.
When playing with European players the ping is around 60-80 ms which means it works well, when playing PC to PC it currently only affects Israeli players.
Since Street Fighter 6 supports cross-play we tried playing from PC to PS5 and the ping is flawless 5-10 ms.
This currently affects all players in Israel, there are a few dozen in our community with multiple ISPs, we have of course tried talking to our ISP and port forwarding and we have not found any network issues from their end. In other P2P games that do not use Steam networking, the problem does not exist (for example, Tekken 8).
At the moment we don’t know what we can do about this issue as nothing we have done has helped and 120ms is too much to play it in any P2P game.
Although I can’t confirm, I’ve heard reports from players in other Middle Eastern countries like Egypt that they also report this issue, so it may be region-wide.
