Keyes Dutton’s new beginning at last yellowstone Might have been short lived.

New extended trailer for yellowstone The spinoff series centers around the prodigal Dutton son, who is called Y: MarshallShows Kayce once again struggling to be a good person who does bad things.

“I fought every day to get out of the weight of Yellowstone,” he says at the beginning of the first footage released from the highly anticipated CBS series (below). “I’ve lost my teammates, my parents, and my brothers. … I’m trying to find a fresh start.”

Kayce is now leading a team of US Marshals in Montana, with his eldest son Tate (Bracken Merrill) at his side, as he sells his family’s Montana ranch and plans to make a fresh start for his family following the events of the season 5B finale. yellowstonewhich concluded Paramount Network’s flagship series.

While the cast includes yellowstone Stars Merrill, Gil Birmingham and actor/consultant Mo Brings Plenti are reprising their roles, notably missing from the cast list is Kelsey Asbill, who played Kayce Dutton’s wife Monica. It remains to be seen whether this will bring new tragedy for Kayce.

Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos and Tatanka Means are the new cast members.

Here’s the official logline: “With Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and a Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana. Kayes and his teammates – Pete Kelvin (Marshall-Greene), Belle Skinner (Kebell), Andrea Cruz (Santos) and Miles Kittle (Means) – are tasked with acting as the last line of defense in the region. He must balance the high psychological cost of serving in the war on violence with his duty to his families, which for Kayce includes his son Tate (Merrill) and his confidant Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) and Moe (Moe Brings Plenty) from the Broken Rock Reservation.
