Look Back by Chainsaw Man’s Tatsuki Fujimoto Gets Live-Action by Academy Award Nominee Hirokazu Kore-eda in 2026

Famous look back by manga chainsaw manTatsuki Fujimoto will receive a live-action adaptation by acclaimed Japanese film director Hirokazu Kore-eda in 2026. The news was revealed alongside the debut of the latest chapter on Shonen Jump+. look back The first look from the live-action film was also revealed, and can be seen below.

As the copyright notice suggests, K2 Pictures, which operates a film fund, was involved in its production. K2 was founded by former Toei producer Muneyuki Ki. Reports from May 2024 revealed that a project was underway near Kore-eda, suggesting that look back The live-action version of the popular anime was already in development before the film’s release (June 2024).
