Ellison’s net worth has similarly surged this year alone after becoming the second person with a $400 billion fortune, although his fortune has declined in recent weeks as Oracle shares tumbled, bringing Ellison’s net worth to an estimated $248.8 billion. Brin overtook Amazon’s Jeff Bezos ($235.1 billion) to become the world’s fourth richest with a net worth of $236.4 billion.
