We are constantly growing our group of concept artists, writers, and storytellers, actively building writers’ rooms, casting and recording actors’ performances, and hiring translators.
Since concept art is clearly being called for – we have 23 concept artists and job opportunities for more. These artists are creating concept art day after day for use in ideation and production.
Everything we do is incremental and aimed at getting people to spend more time creating.
Any ML tool used well is an aid to a creative team or individual’s workflow, not a replacement for their skill or craft.
We’re researching and understanding the cutting-edge technology of ML as a toolset for creatives to use and see how it can make their daily lives easier, which will help us make better games.
We are not releasing any games with any AI components, nor are we looking to cut teams and replace them with AI.
While I understand this is a topic that stirs up a lot of emotions, it is something we are constantly discussing internally from the perspective of making everyone’s work day better, not worse.
