Lane Kiffin working on flipping two four-star wide receivers to LSU

According to On3, new LSU head coach Lane Kiffin is already in the process of recruiting two four-star wide receivers to LSU.

One, Brayden Allen of Lafayette Christian Academy in Lafayette, Louisiana, was committed to Oklahoma as of Sunday. After his decommissioning, several On3 reporters recorded predictions of him committing to LSU.

The Louisiana native is a four-star in the 247Sports composite rankings, the No. 420 player in the 2026 class.

Another, Corey Barber of Clay-Chalkville High in Pinson, Alabama, decommitted from Ole Miss on Sunday. He told Rivals/On3 that one reason was his relationship with former Ole Miss wide receivers coach George McDonald, who followed Kiffin to LSU, according to CBS Sports.

“I’m talking to Coach McDonald today. He’s a great guy and we have a great relationship,” Barber told Rivals/On3. “LSU is now a school I have to consider.”

Barber is also a four-star in the 247Sports composite rankings and is the No. 169 player in the 2026 class.

With Kiffin in Baton Rouge for just one evening, he and LSU have already made progress on the recruiting trail.

The Tigers’ class is currently ranked 12th in the nation by 247Sports. Allen and Barber will likely be the fourth and fifth receivers in the class.

The early signing period for college football begins on December 3 and runs through December 5. Most of LSU’s incoming class will likely put pen to paper during that period.
