Luka Doncic had 33 points with 11 rebounds, Austin Reeves had 22 points with 10 rebounds, and LeBron James had 17 points, eight assists and six rebounds in a good game for L.A.

Lakers center Deandre Ayton played only 13 minutes and scored two points with three rebounds. The former Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers big man suffered a knee injury and left the game early.
On Monday, the Lakers signed former Gonzaga standout Drew Timme to a two-way deal, potentially signaling Ayton’s extended absence.
Timme was with the South Bay Lakers, and big man Christian Koloko was waived as part of the same move.
Shortly after, the Lakers officially ruled Ayton out for Tuesday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

“Deandre Ayton is out Tuesday against the Clippers,” Lakers say.
Ayton signed a one-year deal in the offseason and is averaging 15.5 points per game with 8.4 rebounds this season.
Koloko only played in two games this season and played just over six minutes total, so this isn’t a noteworthy loss for LA.
Timme is averaging 25.5 points with 7.5 rebounds in six games with South Bay, so this could be an opportunity for the former Gonzaga star to see some extended runs with Ayton battling injuries.

The Lakers will face the Clippers on Tuesday night, then close out the month of November at home against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday and the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.
