Kyle Hamilton, Lamar Jackson, Rashod Bateman Set to Play on Thanksgiving

The stars will be out on Thanksgiving night in Baltimore, as Lamar Jackson, Kyle Hamilton, Rashod Bateman and Travis Jones will all play against the Cincinnati Bengals.

None of the four key Ravens running backs suffered injuries in the game, and all four were deemed full participants in walk-through drills on Wednesday.

The Ravens have ruled out running back Justice Hill, who was added to the injury report Tuesday because of the neck injury that has sidelined him the past few days, and defensive lineman Taven Bryan (knee).

Jackson has not practiced every day over the past three weeks due to various injuries (knee, ankle, toe). He said he was recovering “in some areas.”

“I just fell down. I’m good, though. The toe is good,” Jackson said Tuesday.

There were question marks over Hamilton after sitting out Sunday’s win over the New York Jets. However, he was back on the practice field after missing only one practice.

Hamilton, who is playing multiple positions on the Ravens defense and will be a key matchup against the Bengals’ offensive line, said the physical challenge of getting ready to play each week has been the hardest part of his hybrid role.

Bateman is returning after missing the last two games with an ankle injury, which should bring more big-play potential on offense. Rookie cornerback Keyon Martin (rib) has also been cleared to play after missing a game.

Jones’ status was also essential given what he means on the Ravens’ defensive front, who will try to put pressure on Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in his first game back from toe surgery.

Without Hill, the Ravens could give Keaton Mitchell even more opportunities behind Derrick Henry, and Rasheen Ali is likely to be active.

With Bryan sidelined, the Ravens could elevate someone from the practice squad or activate rookie Ennis Peebles for Thursday night’s game.

The Bengals traded out two star players, wide receiver Tee Higgins and defensive end Trey Hendrickson.
