Krispy Kreme, Peanuts launch holiday collaboration

WASHINGTON – Just in time for “A Charlie Brown Christmas” viewing parties and holiday get-togethers, Krispy Kreme and Peanuts are teaming up for their first U.S. collaboration.

The limited-edition Krispy Kreme x Peanuts collection will arrive at participating locations nationwide on Saturday, November 29. It includes three new donuts and two returning favorites, all packaged in a custom Peanuts-themed box for a dozen delicious treats.

Features of the new Krispy Kreme lineup:

• A Snoopy Cookies and Cream donut shaped like Snoopy, filled with cookies and cream and dipped in vanilla icing
• Charlie Brown Ornament Donut filled with brownie batter flavored filling, dipped in yellow vanilla flavored icing and topped with chocolate ornament hooks
• Christmas Wreath Donut, which is a glazed donut topped with a green buttercream swirl and a Snoopy and Woodstock sugar candy
• The Santa Belly Donut, filled with white creme and decorated with Santa’s belt, and the Holiday Sprinkle Donut, dipped in chocolate icing and topped with festive sprinkles, are also returning.

“Just like Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the Peanuts gang, our new holiday collection will bring joy, sweetness and a little extra cheer to everyone,” said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme chief brand and product officer.

If you can’t get to a store, 6-count varieties of Peanut Collaboration are also being sold at select Walmart, Kroger, Publix, Stater Brothers and other grocery stores.

As part of the promotion, Krispy Kreme will also bring back its annual 12/12 “Day of the Dozens” deal on December 12, offering a $1 Original Glazed Dozen with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.

Holiday Donuts are available in stores, for pickup or delivery through the Krispy Kreme app, and at select retailers.
