Kansas City snow | Here’s the timeline and how much to expect

It's snowing all over Kansas City. Monday is First Alert Weather Warning Day. The Winter Weather Advisory will remain in effect until Monday evening. Some storms have already begun in the area, but the more noticeable snowfall occurs just after sunrise. This will continue throughout the day, causing steady, light snowfall that will continue into the evening. Since the temperature will be around 20, anything that falls will stick, even on the roads. Many area school districts have decided to either cancel classes or use virtual learning days. Travel will be slow at times for both morning and afternoon.
