This is just one part of Jelly Roll’s recent public transformation. The style-oriented artist has also been open about his weight loss journey, saying he has lost hundreds of pounds in the past year.
In a video shared to X by the NFL’s Tennessee Titans in August, Jelly Roll revealed that he has “lost 200 pounds.”
“I can’t get on the field,” he joked, but also said he was “close.”
“I lost 200 pounds. I told the coach if I lost 50 more pounds I’d get a contract,” the singer said to applause.
This revelation follows another series of comments in April in which the musician told the crowd at a Pittsburgh show that he was working toward a dream date with his wife.
“I started at 540 pounds, this morning I’m 357 pounds, baby,” he said at the time. “I’m going to lose another 100 pounds and go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby.”
