In the footage above we see Dick Halloran struggling with his dreams, more of Pennywise, and a shot of a burning building that looks like it could be the Black Spot fire that takes place in the novels. This is one of several horrific events that Mike Hanlon writes about in his history of Derry, on which the show is based – it is also an event that marks the end of the creature’s cycle.
