I’m curious what Trinity player Christian Watson has to say about this.
Since he has returned, he has gained 2.63 yards per route against man coverage this year.
He recorded a season high 92% route participation last week.
I, I don’t think, Ray, that was the plan for Christian Watson: 92% route participation, just a month after returning from this ACL injury that he tore in January of this year.
And yet, because of the injuries, and because I think Watson has played some very good football, particularly in the contested catch situations that I criticized him for in his second season, he’s really been kind of a journey.

He has very good hands and strong coverage.
Sal, that’s why I’m cursing him.
He is almost certainly falling badly.
When everyone is looking forward to Thanksgiving.
Sorry about that.
Christian.
But yeah, I think he’s become, at least for now, the most reliable Packers wide receiver.
I agree with you 100%.
That, um, since coming back, has been consistent and solid with opportunity and scope to grow from a utilization standpoint.
Um, number one on the team in usage.
You can see it right there on the screen.
Trinity looks at all that stuff, the goals, the first downs.
It’s Christian Watson, then Romeo Dobbs, then Jontavian Wicks.

All those guys down the line, which means they should be producing a little bit more based on that usage, but yes, they’re getting air yards.
He is in the top 5 in terms of yards per reception and return from his time in the NFL.
And when they target him, he swings sticks and chains for his team.
That’s an element of the big drama.
So, when you’re talking about defense, fourth worst in allowing fantasy points at the wide receiver position.
Matt, you also said it wasn’t good guy coverage.
As such, this is a position where Christian Watson should have some success against this Lions team.
He has been good to a player who tore his ACL.

Calendar year, this calendar year, to come back and get opportunities, and whether it’s because of need or because of the overall raw talent that he has.
I mean, hats off to Christian Watson; He is one of those people.
If you are looking for a roof, right?
He’s going to get an end field goal.
He’s going to get a deep ball.
A game or two, you know it’s happening, and there’s been, there’s, there’s been some meat left on the bone here, with some, some the wrong way, some different, with Jordan Love.
So, I like the trend and path that Watson is on.
And I follow the usage.
He has been his team’s most-used player since Week 8.
