“I’m not allowed to go to the towel?” Carlos Alcaraz argues Doha time violation

Sisak argued to Alcaraz that he had only reset the clock when the Spaniard went to the back of the court to retrieve his towel.

The two continued to debate the issue during the changeover, with Alcaraz vainly requesting that the violation be rescinded.

“I can’t invent more time,” Sisak explained.

Alcaraz lost the first set to Khachanov in a tiebreaker, but eventually prevailed in three sets, 6–7(3), 6–4, 6–3, and tied Sisak at the conclusion of the match.
