Ikea’s new wireless charger looks like a delicious squishy donut

After announcing new Mate-compatible smart home devices and stylish wireless speakers over the past few months, Ikea continues to expand its consumer electronics offerings with three new wireless chargers. They’re limited to 15W Qi2.0 charging rates, but are well-priced and feature designs that look more like home decor accents than traditional tech accessories.

The definite standout of the new collection is the $9.99 Westmark Wireless Charger that looks like a red donut with only the frosting and sprinkles missing. It is made of silicone and its design allows you to wrap and hide its built-in USB-C power cable. You can use it as a standalone wireless charger on your desk or bedside table, but since it’s compatible with magnetic mounts including Apple’s MagSafe and Google’s Pixelsnap, this version from Västmärke can serve as a makeshift PopSocket to help you hold your phone in one hand.

The $24.99 Westmark Wireless Charging Stand isn’t breaking any new ground, though its base is made of cork so it’s a little more aesthetically pleasing and probably also a good place to leave notes secured with a thumbtack. The $24.99 Westmark Wireless Charger with Lighting is likely the most practical of the three new releases. It’s a big bowl where you can leave your keys, wallet or sunglasses when you walk in the door, as well as your phone which will charge on top of a Qi puck in the middle. You can alternately place it on your nightstand and use it as a nightlight. Pressing the wireless charging puck turns on and off an LED light that emits a soft glow from the bottom of the bowl.
