Hypixel Studios recently launched a for the upcoming adventure HytaleWhich contains more than 15 minutes of footage. This comes just a day after the company revamped the game. In other words, this new footage is quite flexible.
It’s worth noting that this is not a AAA-style trailer. It is barely edited live footage of the game that was “recorded and put together in a single morning” by Hypixel co-founder Simon Collins-LaFlamme. The developer says that the footage does not include any “bells and whistles”, as it “just shows the game as it is”. The description calls the video “raw and broken, but beautiful nonetheless.”
Hypixel says this footage uses the original legacy engine that dates back to 2018. It is also running on a four year old build. Collins-LaFlamme wrote that “It is important to release the raw footage today so we can break this curse once and for all.”
As far as that curse is concerned, Hytale After almost a decade of development. Just a few months later, the company managed to buy the rights and get the game back on track. It also rehired about 30 employees. “There’s a long road ahead, but early access is coming soon,” the developer says. We don’t have a date for that early access build, but we’d definitely like the word “soon.”
