We finally have a meaningful home game in Joel as the DX prepare to take on the Oklahoma Sooners in the ACC-SEC Challenge. The Sooners are led by a familiar name in Nigel Pack, who still has eligibility remaining and is averaging 19.3 points per game this season. The Sooners have performed very well on offense this season, averaging nearly 90 points per game with a 55% effective field goal percentage. Wake Forest is 0-2 against offenses ranked in KenPom’s top 35 this season – Oklahoma currently ranks 31st. I suspect this will still be a Quad 3 game at the end of the season, but right now, the Dex probably need to win this one to avoid a Q3 home loss on their resume. A win would also help turn the ACC narrative against the SEC.
