A tornado warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for parts of Austin and Waller County until noon. According to the NWS, a severe storm capable of producing tornadoes was located near San Felipe or Sealy, moving northeast at 20 mph.

A cold wave is on the way today, which will help bring isolated showers and thunderstorms in the mid to late afternoon. The strongest storms are expected to occur primarily north of I-10 and west of I-45, where damaging winds, hail and isolated tornadoes are possible.
