Whittaker, a Terre Haute native, has pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars from his winnings. He will compete again on the quiz show on Monday, December 1.

On Friday night, Whittaker faced off against assistant principal Samantha Meier of North Reading, Massachusetts, and cashier and author Wilder Seitz of Los Angeles, California.

The correct answer was “What is Malta?” Whittaker and Seitz both answered the final hazard correctly, while Meyer guessed Iceland. It worked out for the assistant principal, however, as he didn’t bet anything and finished the game with $7,400.
