It’s hard not to feel a little jealous when looking at Halsey’s latest Instagram photo drop — not only because she’s enjoying every second of the sunshine during her Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, vacation, but also because she’s wearing some stunning swimsuits that fashion lovers will definitely love to get their hands on (us included!).
Multicolored swimsuits won’t be going anywhere in the near future, especially when they look as good as Halsey’s pastel pink, blue and orange striped number does in her cover photo. The bikini’s aqua blue halter straps were a clever way to keep the outfit sleek and glamorous. These colors and shapes together make the artist look even more like a summer daydream.
When she wasn’t taking pictures by the pool during her much-awaited vacation, she enjoyed pina coladas with her friends, went on fun bike rides, enjoyed the sights and sounds of the island, sailing in the gorgeous blue waters and even engaged in a paint and sip activity. In her stylish pictures, none other than her fiance Avan Jogia was seen. The cute couple were total relationship goals as they posed for several photos together.
Based on her photos as well as her caption, Halsey is feeling well-rested and refreshed, all thanks to her Hawaii stay. The stress of touring around the world and the ups and downs that come with being in the public eye can definitely take a toll – a feeling the “Gasoline” singer is probably familiar with.
“I didn’t like being so famous, and I thought I was going to do it. I did it,” Halsey told Zane Lowe during her interview with the Apple Music host in September. “Because when I was a little kid, I wanted to be famous. I really did, and I imagined the whole thing, and I thought I’d be excellent at it.”
She added, “I had a time when I was like, ‘Okay, if I walked back now, it would feel like I was failing. It wouldn’t feel like an option.’ And then, eventually, it no longer matters. I had to do what I wanted. What was right for me, what was safe for me, what was best for me.”
Halsey’s decision to prioritize her mental and physical well-being and take time to recharge highlights the importance of taking breaks in the midst of chaos — and that doing what’s right for you will always be the right choice.
