Obviously, we recognize some of the cast, but we have to admit that the more we know about the contestants, the more invested we’ll be in the show overall. That’s why we’re taking a look at the backstories of all these familiar faces.
Next up: Chris Hughes.
We’re not sure 32-year-old TV personality Chris needs much reintroduction after his turn celebrity big brother in this summer.

Are JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes still together?
JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes do, in fact, appear to still be together.
Not only were they photographed together at Dancers Against Cancer’s 2025 Gala to the Stars in LA on October 21 (the couple’s first red carpet together), but they have also been sharing social media content together.
On November 21, JoJo shared sweet photos of herself and Chris wearing matching Christmas jumpers and detailed her festive plans, noting that she would be traveling to England for Christmas (presumably doing so to spend the holidays with Chris’s family).
All things considered, it looks like JoJo and Chris are going pretty strong!

Now that we know how Chris and JoJo’s relationship is currently going, let’s take a look at their full relationship timeline.
7 – 25 April 2025, meeting continues celebrity big brother uk
Chris and JoJo both enter celebrity big brother uk Home for the show’s 24th season.
The show ran from April 7 to April 25, 2025, and Chris and JoJo were on the show for a full 19 days, giving them time to get to know each other.
At the time, Chris was single and JoJo was in a relationship with Australian DJ, presenter, actor and content creator Kath Abs (who uses they/them pronouns).
Chris and JoJo hit it off immediately on the show, especially after Chris proved himself as an ally. Early in the show, JoJo identified herself as a lesbian, and faced homophobic comments from fellow contestant Mickey Rourke. Chris asked Mikey out and from there a strong relationship developed between Chris and JoJo.
During the show, Chris and JoJo were accused of flirty behavior by viewers, leading to speculation that they had feelings for each other.
Elsewhere on the show, JoJo opened up about her evolving perspective on her sexuality. Speaking to Danny Beard, he suggested he identify as queer (a more open term for non-straight sexuality and/or non-cis gender) rather than gay.
He said, “I feel very strange, do you know what I mean? I think that’s the point.” “I’ve always told myself I’m a lesbian, and I think coming here made me realize: ‘Oh, I’m not gay, I’m gay.’ And I think that’s really great.”
April 26, 2025: Kath Abs announces breakup with JoJo Siwa
On 26 April 2025, Kath (JoJo’s partner upon entering the CBB house) shared that JoJo had broken up with him.
In a 13-minute video posted to social media, Kath alleged that JoJo broke up with her at the show’s wrap party, saying: “But before I could get back to the hotel… this is really crazy… I went to the afterparty with my ex and I got dumped at the party.”
JoJo denied that the breakup was inspired by Chris.
28 April 2025: Chris and JoJo appeared the today show
Chris and JoJo appeared on April 28, 2025 the today show And talked about their friendship, saying that it was just idealistic.
JoJo said: “Look, he’s a great guy. It’s perfect, we have so much fun together. Life is life, and I don’t know any future of anything. But, I’m really grateful for our dynamic, the bond that we have, and whatever life will do, life will do.”
Chris said: “It’s not like the standard friendship that you have with your friends, but you know, it’s still a friendship. To have someone there to go through that experience… when you’re emotional, when you’re sad, when you’re happy, it was beautiful.”
May 19, 2025: Chris celebrates JoJo’s 22nd birthday with her
On 21 May 2025, JoJo shared a selection of images to mark her 22nd birthday, two days earlier. Chris is clearly present in these and both are seen hugging.
The caption read: “This year’s birthday week was more magical than anything. Full of surprises, family time, performances, chills, laughs, love, smiles and well-meaning cries. Absolutely beautiful, wouldn’t change a single thing🤍 A week I will remember for the rest of my life.”
On May 20, 2025, Chris shared a photo dump containing several photos of JoJo and the caption: “The last 7 days have been the most beautiful.. 😊💫🎂”.
JoJo commented: “And the happiest :). Heart is overflowing”
These social media exchanges and the fact that Chris helped celebrate JoJo’s birthday fueled the relationship rumors.
June 2, 2025: JoJo confirms romantic relationship with Chris
JoJo and Chris continued to post each other on social media, with Chris even sharing IG stories of hanging out with JoJo’s parents.
On June 1, Chris shared a photo on his social media of himself shirtless in bed and kissing JoJo on the forehead.
On June 2, JoJo confirmed her relationship with Chris in an interview. Guardian: “It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful evolution, a beautiful relationship, and I’m absolutely ready for that and so is he.”
June 5, 2025: It was reported that JoJo met Chris’s parents and “charmed” them
On 5 June 2025, reports began to emerge that JoJo had met Chris’s parents after the two were photographed in the Cotswolds the day before.
According to the Daily Mail, a source said; “Meeting the parents is a big step, but she charmed everyone. It looks like JoJo has traded her bow for the joys of the British countryside!”
July 12, 2025: Chris reveals he wants to marry JoJo
On 12th July 2025, Sun’s Magnificent Magazine Published an interview with Chris where he shared that he would like to marry JoJo.
“I would love to marry her,” he said. “I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you I’m going through scenarios about our wedding day.”
He also said that he and JoJo “both want kids.”
Additionally, Chris defended JoJo over claims that she had become ‘straight’ that began circulating online.
Using JoJo’s birth name, Chris said: “Joelle has been with girls all her life. She’s bisexual. She’s not straight anymore just because she’s with me.”
So, there you have it: the perfect relationship timeline!
