The $6 trillion chemicals industry drives the physical economy but still relies on spreadsheets and legacy systems. It is responsible for 25 percent of global emissions and is one of the least digitalized regions in the world. AI could change the way this sector operates.

We are building the intelligence layer for process industries. Our software understands the workflow, the reasons behind the data, and acts inside the actual operation from quotation to shipment. We are already positioned among major manufacturers and distributors including Fortune 100 companies. We are now hiring founding engineers to help scale and own these agentive systems.

Role: Founding Engineer

overview

This is a zero to one role. You will have large, ambiguous problem areas and ship production AI agents used daily by sales teams, operators and plant managers.

In your first 90 days, you can:

  • Visit customer sites to map actual workflows.
  • Create a complete agent that can handle complex quoting, pricing, inventory management, purchasing or scheduling.
  • Integrate with ERP, CRM and industrial systems.
  • Design simple, high leverage product experiences.

What will you work on?

  • Key product features from frontend to backend.
  • The infrastructure that keeps agents reliable in real environments.
  • Customer understanding through direct contact with plants and operations.
  • Evaluating and deploying new AI capabilities.

what we look for

  • Strong full stack capability. You can go across the stack and fix what’s broken.
  • Bias towards action and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Clear communication with technical and non technical users.
  • Are located in San Francisco or interested in relocating. We work individually.

Our stack includes modern LLM, TypeScript and React and AWS, but the main requirement is the ability to learn quickly.
