The Sun’s Kevin Brockway and Andrew Abadie predict whether Lane Kiffin will become Florida football’s next coach, and break down the UF=FSU season finale with Liam Rooney of the Tallahassee Democrat.
Florida basketball will be without Alex Condon for the Gators’ game against Providence on Friday, November 28.
According to a team spokesperson, Condon suffered a bruised chin during the Gators’ 84–80 loss a day earlier and was held out for precautionary reasons. The hit came on a layup by Ruben Chinyelu, who made contact against Condon.
The Australian still finished the game and recorded eight points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
The 6-foot-11 junior forward has started in every game this season as he has averaged 15.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
It will be the first time this season that Florida (4-2) will change its starting lineup.
Center Micah Handlogten, who missed the Merrimack game for the same reason, will start in Condon’s place. Handlogten, who has averaged 6.4 points and 7.7 rebounds this season, is making his first start since the 2024 SEC Championship Game.
