Here are some highlights from Tuesday’s storm:
Snow from Tuesday to Tuesday night
- Time: Snowfall will start from 7 am to 9 am on Tuesday. Snowfall will end late Wednesday night between 1 am and 3 am.
- Type: all snow inland. Snow and rain mix with the coast.
- How much: 5-9″ for most of the area and 3-6″ along the coast. Jackpot of 8-12″ Central NH to far western Maine. See map below
- Air: Light east to north-easterly winds on Tuesday. Northeast to north winds Tuesday night increasing to 15 to 20 MPH.
Much of the area should see 5-9″ of snowfall. Some rain is expected near the coast.

A Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 8 a.m. Tuesday until 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Snowfall should occur between 7 am and 9 am

Skies will clear up Wednesday morning, making for a nice day midweek.
The passage of the Arctic cold front late Thursday night will be the big story of the weather.
Snowfall or storm is possible.
More importantly, very cold air will blow from Thursday night into Friday.
High Friday will have difficulty getting out of adolescence.
Another round of light snowfall is possible on Saturday.
