“The only justice I’m getting is to expose this guy and post that video,” he said. “And it’s gone viral. Now if people see it they can live with the shame and embarrassment.”
“I am suffering!” He said. “Is this going to make sense to any fucking person?”
Many of his videos attracted large numbers of followers – ranging from 5 million to 30 million views each – and DoorDash eventually felt the need to respond.
“DoorDash never deactivates anyone for reporting [sexual assault]-Full stop,” the company said.
But, it added, “Posting a video of a customer’s home, and publicly revealing their personal details, is a clear violation of our policies. That’s the only reason why when we investigated, this Dasher’s account was deactivated along with that of the customer. We also ensured that the Dasher had full access to their earnings.”
Meanwhile police… Were Doing something—but not anything Henderson wanted.
Police determined that the naked man in question was “incapacitated and unconscious on his couch due to alcohol consumption.” Being drunk and naked inside his own home apparently does not constitute sexual assault on a delivery driver, and the police department said in a press release yesterday that “the Oswego Police Department’s investigation revealed that no sexual assault occurred.”
As part of their investigation, police discovered that Henderson had filmed the man and “subsequently posted the video on social media, where it gained considerable attention.” This drew their attention to Henderson’s decision to film and upload the video without that person’s consent.
Police eventually arrested Henderson, who is now charged with two felonies: “unlawful surveillance in the second degree” and “dissemination of an unlawful surveillance image in the first degree.” He was released after being charged and his case will be heard in Oswego City Court.
Henderson has stopped releasing videos on TikTok about the situation.
