Sung Jinwoo’s childlike appearance reveals where the trailer takes place in the Solo leveling timeline
the important thing is Solo Leveling: Karma The original tells the canonical story of what happened to Jinwoo in a part of the story that was maligned in the manhwa: his 27-year war against the emperors. After Jinwoo reset the timeline with the Cup of Reincarnation, he proceeded to single-handedly fight and defeat the emperors in a war that lasted 27 years.
Solo Leveling: KarmaThe new opening scene shows a much younger version of Sung Jinwoo from the anime, which only fans will be used to, mainly because it is depicting the child form he took at the end of the manhwa. Ironically, Sung Jinwoo’s appearance as a child in the trailer is indicative of him being at his most powerful and mature throughout.
New Solo Leveling Trailer Shows Jinwoo’s Sadest Defeat From The Manhwa
In Solo Leveling: Karma In the beginning, an artfully composed scene shows Sung Jinwoo walking through a dark abyss with memories of his past visible in the background. It seems as if Jinwoo is carrying these burdens with him into his major battle against the emperors.
The trailer depicts the deaths of both Go Geun and Sung Ilhwan, as Jinwoo remembers these tragic losses from his past. They are amazing recreations that are extremely close to what fans have seen in the manhwa’s depictions of these scenes. It’s great to see that A-1 Pictures is still showing so much love towards manhwa and being faithful to the source material, even for a video game release. It serves as an excellent indicator of what is going to happen at some point solo leveling Season 4 or 5, as most of these scenes likely won’t be featured in Season 3.
Jinwoo travels to the Emperors’ Dimensions in Solo Leveling: Karma
The beginning of the trailer shows young Jinwoo walking into a gate, and it’s a really exciting scene. This is the first look at Jinwoo starting his fight against the Emperors, traveling into their dimensions through a gate to pursue and hunt them. Jinwoo is shown in various scenarios throughout the trailer.
First, he is depicted fighting in the cold tundra: apparently the home of the Frost Monarch. Later, he is seen fighting a giant armored magical beast, who is presumably one of the henchmen of Tarnak, the Emperor of the Iron Body and king of monstrous humanoids. Solo Leveling: Karma This allows for an in-depth look at the lore of each Emperor, making it a must-play for any fan of the source material.
Fans get their first look at Bellion in new solo leveling trailer
with Solo Leveling: Karma While portraying Sung Jinwoo at the peak of his power as the Shadow Emperor, it also shows him with the full extent of his shadow army as seen at the end of the manhwa. And yes, that means he’s joined by the Grand Marshal, Belion, on the battlefield.
This is the first look at A-1 Pictures’ interpretation of what Belion will look like in the anime, and he’s just as good as expected. His design is largely similar to his manhwa counterpart, although there is more detail on his armor. It’s a slightly sharper take on Bellion that really fits the whole atmosphere of this endless war that Jinwoo has to fight against the emperors in Karma.
Sung Jinwoo used many never-before-seen weapons during the 27-year war
One of the most interesting details Solo Leveling: Karma Revealed by A-1 Pictures is that Jinwoo has access to several weapons that he has never used in the manhwa. He uses a bow and arrow, a sickle, and a spear in the trailer – marking a clear deviation from his signature daggers and swords.
This actually makes sense, because Karma Explores an entire 27-year period that fans never saw in the original solo leveling Manhwa or light novel. While Jinwoo’s alternate weapons in Solo Leveling: Arise were a bit close to the idea of being non-canon, it is more reasonable to assume that Jinwoo would have used many other weapons during the long war against the Emperors that readers never got to see in the manhwa since this period was not shown.
Solo Leveling: Karma will be released for PC and mobile devices in 2026.
