Kalshi is facing backlash from its own users after a class action lawsuit was filed last week alleging it has failed to make payments as promised in connection with the resignation or removal of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khamenei was killed in an attack on Iran last month, but Kalshi did not implement the “death carveout” until after Khamenei was dead, according to the lawsuit.

Meanwhile, Kalshi is reportedly working to attract more women to its platform in an effort to increase its user base. In form of wall street journal Reported on Sunday, the percentage of women using Kalshi has doubled in the past ten months, rising from 13 percent to 26 percent of total Kalshi users.
