Actress Ellen Hendricks is known for several projects, such as her roles in “The Parent Trap” and “Dynasty.” She was born in Oak Ridge and grew up in Morristown.
Actress Ellen Hendrix told WBIR in the fifth week that she was “starting to dare to dream” about taking home the Mirrorball trophy on the competitive dancing show.
On Tuesday night, Hendricks will face Robert Irwin, Dylan Efron. Jordan Chiles And Alix Earl for Mirrorball. During last week’s episode, co-host Alfonso Ribeiro announced a different format for this season’s finale. Each finalist will dance in three rounds of the competition.
Rounds include “Judges’ Choice” and “Instant Dance”, where celebrities learn and perform a choreographed dance to a surprise song during the live show. The second, the “Make or Break Freestyle”, a routine with no rules aimed at getting votes from the public.
Hendrix is best known for roles in projects such as “The Parent Trap” with Lindsay Lohan and the TV show “Dynasty.” While he is in Los Angeles or Atlanta for work, his roots are in East Tennessee. Hendrix was born in Oak Ridge and moved to Morristown, where she lived until she was 15.
“I didn’t grow up thinking, ‘Oh, one day I’ll go to Hollywood.’ It wasn’t even registered,” Hendricks said. “I am becoming a proof of preparation for the opportunity meeting. I have worked hard for years to get to where I am. And it was literally just putting one foot in front of the other, taking one opportunity after another and giving it my all.”
The finale airs Tuesday, November 25 at 8PM on ABC and Disney+.
