New England Patriots quarterback Drake Mays first won the hearts of Boston sports fans with his play. However, en route to this season’s MVP bid, the 23-year-old quarterback has impressed NFL fans with his maturity on the podium.
His wife, Ann Michael Mays, is quickly becoming as big a star as the All-Pro gunslinger.
His rise to fame began in December when his “BeckMass” TikTok series received millions of views. Following her viral success, Drake’s high school girlfriend has now signed a television deal with NBC Sports Boston for a new cooking show called “Beyond Bakemas.”
The pair are slaying every move and “WEEI Afternoons” host Andy Hart is in awe of their impeccable public image.
“I think he’s doing the impossible,” Hart said. “I’m very cynical in my approach to the world, and when something seems too good to be true, I usually assume it’s fake – it’s a sham – but I have to tell you: these two sweet kids are really changing the way I see the world.”

The Mayes couple have been together since they were 12 years old and remain busy with their various charitable contributions outside of football.
“Every time I look up, Drake Mays is doing the right thing, whether it’s on the field or off the field,” Hart said. “And every time I look up, Ann Michael Mays is doing or saying something on my social media, like, are these the coolest people ever?
Everything they do and say sounds so perfect. And normally, I’d rather poke holes in it, and wait for the other shoe to drop… I’m starting to accept the fact that she’s an all-time great talent, and she’s the woman behind one of the all-time great love stories and quarterbacks.
