Although Black Friday gets most of the attention as far as shopping holidays go, Cyber Monday is definitely still alive and well. The National Retail Federation coined this term 20 years ago when in-store shopping and online shopping were very different things. The lines between the two have blurred a bit in 2025, but technically, there are still two separate events that fall on the calendar one after the other – and you can bet Amazon is taking full advantage of both.
Here’s what you need to know about Amazon’s Cyber Monday sale in 2025.
When is Cyber Monday 2025?
Cyber Monday always falls on the Monday after Thanksgiving and Black Friday. In 2025, it comes quite late in the calendar. With Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 27, and Black Friday on Friday, November 28, Cyber Monday is officially happening on Monday, December 1 this year. Of course, many sales will go live well before the official start date.

Does Amazon do Cyber Monday sales?
Amazon will never miss a chance to offer deals to consumers. Amazon’s Cyber Monday sale will start this year Officially starts on November 29th – two days earlier – and will last until December 1st. It will essentially pick up where Black Friday ends.

Like Black Friday, Amazon will be offering “millions of deals across popular categories” during its Cyber Monday sale. These include everything from kitchen appliances and Apple gadgets to headphones and Amazon devices. There will also be significant discounts on holiday essentials, with up to 50% off artificial Christmas trees, seasonal decorations and select electronics.

Is Black Friday or Cyber Monday better at Amazon?
As the lines of Cyber Week blur beyond recognition, many deals will cross over from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. Of course, there are always some exceptions. We see more intense and widespread TV discounts for Black Friday. They’re also more likely to sell out before the calendar flips to Cyber Monday. In the meantime, if you’re shopping for a laptop or PC, we recommend waiting until Cyber Monday. We’ve seen better computer deals in the latter half of Cyber Week in years past.
