“Share a Disney quote that describes how you’re feeling right now!”
Disney posted the same thing on threads the other day, and people immediately replied with lines like star wars, Hunchback of Notre Dameand even mary poppins. The gist between all the quotes: They were clearly anti-fascist and clearly aimed at the current administration.
Apparently, Disney either couldn’t handle the anti-fascist message of its own films or was too afraid of angering the powers that be, because it quickly removed the post. Thankfully, a resourceful Threads user recorded it for posterity, and reminded us that yes, the human world really is a mess.
