Soon, he will be involved in a massive battle for the truth, and he will not be alone. He will team up with a Kansas City TV meteorologist (Emily Blunt), who will begin making alien clicking sounds during broadcasts. Her acquaintance Jane (Eve Hewson) also gets mixed up in things and meets a dangerous administrator (Colin Firth) who appears to be able to project himself anywhere in the world thanks to a machine he’s attached to. The said machine also seems to give him mind control powers. And The ability to change the color of his eyes, making him a Swiss Army Knife of fantastic powers. (Although that doesn’t mean I’d want to meet anyone who uses it.)
The rest of the trailer is full of interesting imagery, from crop circles to a mysterious deer leading a young girl to a glowing door. Do I know what’s going on? No. Do I trust Spielberg to deliver another Alien banger? Given that he is behind at And close encounters of the third kindIt would be an absolute “yes”.
