DC Comics’ Festive ‘Sweater Weather’ Covers Are a Real Winter Warmer (Exclusive)

The weather outside may be frightful, but you can stay warm this holiday season by reading comic books — and DC Comics is giving us plenty of incentive to do just that with its line of new variant covers. Some of which lean more festive, others lean… well, like the company’s previous special covers, toward a different kind of holiday spirit.

io9 has a first look at DC’s special variant range for its January comics release, the “Sweater Weather” cover range. Although they might be missing the holiday season, some of these new covers definitely lean into that holiday vibe, while others simply acknowledge that winter is several months long and we all need to get through it nice and warm, regardless of any festivities. And others? Well, you can’t really put Dick Grayson on a comic book cover these days, whether in variant form or otherwise, and No Hopefully he shows it.
