Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton reunite 24 years after ‘Harry Potter’

A magical reunion.

“Harry Potter” co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton reunited at a special screening of “Merry We Roll Along” in New York City on Monday.

The two were all smiles while taking photos together at the Hudson Theatre. They also shared a sweet embrace when they saw each other for the first time in a video captured by People.

Radcliffe, who won a Tony Award for his nine-month run on the Broadway show, wore a gray jean jacket, brown shirt and black jeans.

Felton, 38, was wearing a brown coat, white shirt and brown pants.

The actors met two decades ago when they shot “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” which celebrated its 24th anniversary last month.

Radcliffe, 36, played the lead character in the film series based on JK Rowling’s books, while Felton played Harry’s school rival Draco Malfoy.

On November 11, Felton made history as the first “Harry Potter” film actor to reprise his role in the popular Broadway production, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” He received a long standing ovation in his first show at the Lyric Theatre.

“Cursed Child,” which debuted on Broadway in 2018, is set 19 years after the events of “Deathly Hallows,” the final installment of the fantasy series.

The play brings back Harry, Ron, Draco and Hermione – but focuses specifically on the new adventures of their children, Albus Severus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy.

Before his “Cursed Child” debut, Felton said on “Good Morning America” ​​that he had “taken some tips” from Radcliffe.

Felton said of Radcliffe, “He was one of the early inspirations for me to get into Broadway.”

Felton said, “I saw him in his first show over 10 years ago, and now obviously he’s a Tony winner and a huge inspiration for why Broadway is so special.”

In an interview with People in June, Felton said, “My old school friend, Potter, Radcliffe has done a lot of work on Broadway, so he’s been holding my hand and definitely helping me with all the things that are hard to learn.”

“But what I’ve discovered is there’s an amazing community of people,” the British actor said. “The fans have been really kind and excited. So I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”

The “Harry Potter” franchise continues with the upcoming HBO TV series in which Harry is played by Dominic McLaughlin. The 11-year-old actor recently revealed that he received a letter of support from Radcliffe.

McLaughlin said during an interview on the BBC’s “Saturday Mash-Up! Live”, “It was crazy,” adding, “My dad called me on the train and gave me this letter. I read it and then I got to the bottom of it, and it said, ‘Dan R.’ I was going crazy, but I had to stay calm. I was on the train.”
