CrowdStrike beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 1.7% last quarter, reporting revenue of $1.17 billion, up 21.3% year over year. It was a strong quarter for the company, with an impressive beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates and full-year EPS guidance that exceeded analysts’ expectations.

This quarter, analysts expect CrowdStrike’s revenue to grow 20.3% year over year to $1.22 billion, slower than the 28.5% growth recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to be $0.94 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally affirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they expect the business to continue to grow earnings. CrowdStrike has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates only once over the past two years, exceeding top-line expectations by an average of 1.4%.

Looking at CrowdStrike’s peers in the cybersecurity space, some have already reported their Q3 results, giving us an indication of what we can expect. Varonis Systems reported revenue growth of 9.1% year-over-year, 2.7% below analysts’ expectations, and Qualys reported revenue growth of 10.4%, beating estimates by 2.2%.
