COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Texas A&M wide receiver and punt return specialist Casey Concepcion has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft and will forgo his remaining college eligibility.
Concepcion began his collegiate career at NC State and made an immediate impact in his lone season with the Aggies, boosting an offense that desperately needed to improve its passing game and providing a spark on special teams.
Concepcion is the first Aggie to be named the Paul Hornung Award winner for the nation’s most versatile player. He was second in all of Division One football with 460 punt return yards in the regular season. His total of 12 touchdowns ranks fourth among all receivers in the country in finding the endzone with rushing, receptions and punt returns this season. He led the Aggies with 61 catches for 919 yards.
In his three seasons between the Aggies (2025) and Wolfpack (2023–24), he totaled 185 catches for 2,218 yards, 25 touchdowns, while adding 431 rushing yards on 70 carries for three scores.
The transfer from NC State is a consensus All-American as an all-purpose player after earning first-team honors by the FWAA, AP and AFCA. He landed on the second team as a punt returner from The Sporting News.
