Cold weather remains, snow chances for Oklahoma

The chance of snowfall is low across much of the state, with only a 20 percent chance of freezing precipitation in central Oklahoma. Chances are increasing near the Kansas border, with a 40 percent chance of wintry weather Monday from Woodward to Bartlesville. The storm may develop by midnight, but accumulation totals throughout the day are expected to be minimal, with little or no impact on motorists. High temperatures are expected to climb into the 30s and 40s in parts of the state by Monday afternoon. A dusting of snow may be seen across much of northern Oklahoma when it's all said and done. Up to an inch of snowfall could occur from Ponca City to Bartlesville. The storm system is expected to move eastward throughout the day, leaving the state by Monday night. Temperatures are expected to drop back into the 20s and 30s in parts of the state by Monday night and Tuesday morning. When it’s all said and done much of northern Oklahoma could see a dusting of snow, while areas from Ponca City to the area around Bartlesville could see up to an inch of snow total.
