Clavicular confronted by trans women over who started ‘looksmaxxing’

“Luxmaxing” influencer Clavicular was recently contacted by three trans women, sparking a discussion about which community – incels or trans women – really started the intense beauty movement.

In a viral video clipped from a recent Kik stream, Clavicular was seen eating at a restaurant in Florida when his friend, Andrew Morales, aka “Cuban Tarzan,” noticed three attractive women and pushed the camera towards them to show the “goons.”

Soon, all three women headed to Clavicular’s table, with one asking, “Why am I bothering you now?” Mogging is a term describing enhancing someone’s beauty.

“I’m doing DragQueenMax right now, no shade,” the unnamed woman said.

The three women then told Clavicular, also known as 20-year-old Braden Peters, that they were trans. Clavicular responded by asking questions about women’s anatomy.

The discussion changed when the first woman to approach the table said to Clavicular, “Did you know trans women are the OG Luxmaxers?”

The clavicular appears to accept trans women’s role in aesthetic practices, which include extreme skin, hair, fitness and nutrition routines, as well as the use of steroids and hormones (and even surgery, such as breaking bones). The woman who approached the table first said to Clavicular, “I do peptides, I’m on Reta.”

Clavicular acknowledged that trans women on Reddit were using lookmaxing terms in early 2020.

But when one of the women said, “You’re copying us,” Clavicular objected, shaking his head.

The women then ask Clavicular to assess their appearance, but he seems to have had enough of the argument and refuses. While Clavicular expressed his general boredom and superior attitude towards women, he did not insult them. Morales, on the other hand, expressed transphobic attitudes by repeatedly apologizing for finding women attractive before discovering that he was transphobic.

Clavicular’s political philosophies are not entirely clear, although he has conducted interviews and collaborated with right-wing influencers, manosphere celebrities, and white supremacists. According to him, he had expressed vaguely transphobic attitudes earlier as well.

As far as which community first adopted looksmaxing, it is widely accepted that the incel community was the first to coin the phrase in the early 2020s and based much of their persona on maximizing their appearance.

Of course, trans women have existed since people knew what “transgender” meant, and they have a long history of changing their appearance not only to be more beautiful and powerful, but also to more accurately align with their gender identity.
